The warranty on a refrigerator is valid for a one-year period after the day you purchased. If your refrigerator has lasted for more than a year then the appliance is no longer under warranty. There are other reasons your refrigerator cannot be warranted even if the one-year warranty cover period has not yet ended.
How To Know Your Refrigerator Is No Longer Under Warranty
- When your refrigerator’s operating system has been tampered with in one way or another. For your refrigerator to qualify for a warranty cover, its operating system should be as it was when it was purchased.
- When the refrigerator has experienced any external impacts that have affected how its works. The appliance company does not cover accidents. When the appliance has experienced extreme impacts, the company will not be responsible if the refrigerator starts having problems.
- When you bought your refrigerator from a second-hand seller. The warranty cover only stands for the original buyer even when the one-year validity period has not ended yet.
